About the band.

Cremisi is a symphonic epic metal band from Italy (Ravenna). Cremisi means ‚Crimson‘ in english, which is the color of the christian cardinals. The four musicians, as Renaissance ghosts, tell stories about Middle Age and Italian
Renaissance (Leonardo da Vinci, Savonarola, The black plague, Cristoforo Colombo, The Inquisition and many other) in a catchy sound by great vocals, melodic guitars and powerful rhythm section with a strong theatrical stage presence.

Formed in 2016 they released their first full length “Dawn of a New era” in 2019.
This concept album, telling stories from the Italian Renaissance, is characterized by a thick sound, a powerful orchestra and history driven lyrics.
In 2022, after a tour abroad, they released “Iustizia”, an EP telling stories of fictional paintings burned by Savonarola, an Italian religious revolutionary.
The lyrics and the sound develop the direction taken with the first album, becoming more mature and unique.

Cremisi has already two European tours under its belt: one in 2022 (Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania) and the last one in 2024 (Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland).
The band is currently working on new material and planning the next live shows around Europe.
